  2. How do I book my accommodation?

  3. Can I book other types of accommodation other than hotels?
    You can book all types of accommodation: hotels, serviced apartments and motels on our hotel listings.

  4. Can I request a specific bedding configuration?
    Bedding configuration can be requested in the field/box located in the online booking form. Please note that the hotel will do everything possible to accommodate your request, however these are ‘requests’ and are not guaranteed.

  5. How can I pay for my booking fee or hotel booking?
    You can book accommodation online with Global Destination Management by using Visa, Master Card or American Express to pay for your hotel booking fee for 'Post Paid' hotels and in full hotel payment for 'Pre-Paid' hotel bookings. A tax invoice will be issued to your email account soon after you complete the online booking.

  6. Do I have to pay for accommodation in full now? 
    Some hotels listed on our web site allow for payment direct to the hotel on departure, known as‘Post Paid’. Other hotels require payment for your accommodation in full known as ‘Pre-Paid’ when your accommodation is confirmed. With Pre-Paid hotels, you will then be sent an e-hotel voucher confirming your accommodation and payment. Print out a copy and present it to the hotel when you check-in. Upon check-in, the hotel will ask you for a credit card imprint for incidental expenses (e.g. room, mini bar, telephone calls, laundry) as well as photographic ID for security purposes.

  7. Can I change or cancel my booking?
    Changes can be made to most bookings however this is dependent on the hotel’s cancellation and change policies. The first amendment will be free of charge; any subsequent amendment incurs a charge of $20.00 (excluding GST) in each instance, in addition to any amendment fee levied by the travel supplier.   
       
  8. When will my credit card be debited?
    Where a booking fee payment is required for 'Post-Paid' hotels or a full payment is required for 'Pre-Paid' hotels at time of booking, this amount will be displayed on the Booking and Payment screen and charged to your credit card when you submit your request.

  9. Will my credit card details be secure?
    Global Destination Management uses Moneydirect for credit card transactions. GDM protects your personal and credit card details with the latest SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. SSL encrypts information to prevent it being read during transmission over the internet.
